Pierre Dumas 258 Posted March 9, 2014 Foggy, misty or whatever, would look more like this than the previous one, maybe not so attractive, but more realistic and it is my goal at the moment to overcome the problems in doing foggy pictures! PDE Link to comment
joscelyn_sylvester 0 Posted March 9, 2014 This is brilliant. I would soften the edges on the bird. Would you agree? Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 258 Posted March 9, 2014 Joscelyn, I was advised before to do that on my pictures and this time I was occupied with something else and didn't even think of that, of course I agree! Thank you for your kind comment and advice! PDE Link to comment

alfbailey 1 Posted March 9, 2014 The foggy effect is most definately progressing well! But now my reaction seems to be guaged by this bird of prey, and although I detect no hostility, it appears to be watching carefully and perhaps making a mental note to relate back to it's creator!A bit unnerving, but compulsive viewing all the same! Compliments! Alf Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 258 Posted March 10, 2014 Alf, You are right, no hostility here, as a mater of fat the bird is positioned there only to emphasize the feeling of depth being most clearly visible, in that regard I should have put one more tree in the distance with lower opacity, but it didn't appeared to me at the time! Thank you for your contribution to my beginners efforts at making anther kind of environment from my regular clear and crisp pictures! PDE Link to comment
tamaramar 0 Posted March 10, 2014 What is it about fog? Sunrise and fog... Sunset and fog... Foggy landscape, fog and water.... Doesn't it respond to our state of soul - dream, sadness, mystery, being lost...Fog has more for the Artist then just nice sunny weather... So your work here has more and everyone will find something that responds to their state at the moment... Warm regards, Tamara Link to comment
donev1 693 Posted March 10, 2014 “Watching you” in the fog – impressive, Pierre! I like your previous foggy compositions. Best regards Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 258 Posted March 10, 2014 Dear Tamara, I don't remember to have done foggy sunset or sunrise, I'm new in the business of doing fog, that's all! Thank you for your precious visit and comment! PDE Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 258 Posted March 10, 2014 Evgeni, I appreciate your attitude, just the previous one doesn't look like fog really looks and I'm trying to be realistic in my surrealism, ha! Thank yu for your visit and kind comment! PDE Link to comment
