Winter still holds sway, it seems; you must be wondering when it will loosen its grip. Even here is Osaka it's unseasonably cold though not to your level, I'm sure. Well, at least the lengthy winter allows you to leisurely explore the frigid beauty of the snow covered plains and come up with pictures like this.

If someone want to see how arctic landscape looks or similar images must come to see all your photos about this with ice in incredible unique shapes, clouds and large spaces.Compare colors versions(where images look natural as are) the bw version with nice grey tones has a different impact cause of mood created.Possible that our eyes like in first view colors but some fine elements are better seen in bw. Finally I say that both do together an whole idea about this wonderful presentation you do in your composition. My compliments for your work.

It seems as if Winter wants to stay over for Spring. It was -12C when I was out on the ice for these shots but it has warmed up some today;the forecast is not that great either as temperatures are expected to stay below normal till the end of March but as you say, great for these images.Thank you for the support!

Meilleures salutations-Laurent

Thank you again for viewing and for the so kind observation. You are right that the sky is an important factor to enhance the ice below and I usually try to time my outings when there are good clouds above.

Salutations amicales-Laurent
