Wind moulded!

This is about as real as winter gets - expanses of snow and ice, with occasional hints of vegetation.  Although one might be tempted to describe the scene you captured as a frozen wasteland, I prefer to describe it as a frozen fantasy.  The shapes which the wind created certainly are fantastical.

a very good choice to have this in bw when all this light shadows play a better seen,angle and position chosen gives an excellent feeling of what blizzard did,I like it.

Thank you my friend.I had been cut off from this,one of my favorite areas,for about two weeks as the road had been blocked by the last storm;I followed the snow removal crew as they broke a pilot trail(my image of the snow blower).
