This photo was shot in monochrome using HDR and processed in

Lightroom 3.6. It shows Mount Arrowsmith with a foreboding sky. I

have chosen to include a print of this photo in my professional

portfolio and would appreciate any feedback and pointers anyone

might have.

An attractive image with great details, gray scale wise for my taste is a little on the dark side lacking bright whites. However it does have all ranges of tonalities very well sparse towards the center. Some how the totally black forgrand take a bit from the image. The middle area of the moaintain and the sky are fantastic. Great presentation 6. Warm regards.

Very cool sky and mountain range. I'd like to see a little detail in the foreground but I'm looking at it on an iPad so it may just be my screen.

Cory,

I like the image, especially the sky. Two previous posters commented on the darkness of the image and I agree. I am looking at it on a calibrated monitor in a normally lit room and much of the forest looks completely black. In a print that may be different, but you might consider lightening the shades just a pinch to get some details into the foreground. But then, I like the foreboding atmosphere of mountain and sky. Maybe a lightened forest would destroy that. In that case I might crop some of the forest.

Just a few thoughts.
