Perfect 7!  But I have to know, do you use surgical adhesive to get them to stay in just the perfect spot for composition ;-)?  All of your birds and branches are perfectly placed.... Mike

Mike,

Thank you!  This is about 50% of the original image.  I had about 40 shots of this finch in different "poses" and moved around some to get the background to be a better fit.

I'm just lucky that the finch stayed put for 40 shots...it was cold, which may explain it.

Thank you!  Yes, I like to catch their expressions.  The pine siskens have returned today and the light is good...so maybe I'll catch a few good shots a bit later:-)

I have some catching up to do Richard. This shot is so cute with the bird's head tilted this way. Lovely lighting and good detail. I enjoy these shots so much.
