Thanks Bill! He was on the other side of the creek about 30 feet away and flew toward us (at the closer side of the creek) which took me by supprise and I clip the wing a bit . Low light and high ISO too.

I'll bet this was a surprise when he flew right at you! I do wish he'd done so in better light though!

 

I know the feeling! . . . I've sat all day at times watching Eagle nest with both Eagles coming from or going to the nest, and it seems they always fly off the nest in the direction away from me! One of these days, . . .

Thanks for stopping by and left your thought Jim! ... life of a bird shooter!  :-)  ... I am working on going to Barrow, Alaska to shoot Snowy Owl breeding (nest .. and chicks) this summer .. wish me luck!  :-)
