When I visited the bridge where Kurt Cobain hung around a couple

of blocks from his house, I did not know it was his birthday.

Apparently he would spends endless time here gazing over the

Wishkah River writing and playing music. I was on my way

somewhere else when my driving companion suggested we stop. I

was never into Nirvana, but I was deeply moved by this place.
