Elstad 8 Posted February 22, 2014 This one I got from an image on another site. It was however in Spanish :=} Ensalada de Lengua de Aves. I doubt that it makes any more sense in that language either... -r- Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted February 22, 2014 What came first, the title or the picture. Genius!. Is this one of the pictures from the show? Link to comment
Elstad 8 Posted February 22, 2014 Its mostly the images that come first. If I run across a good title, it will lie in wait of a suitable image to go with it. As I've related elsewhere... I've a stack of poetry books next to my work station and when I finish a piece, I'll thumb through a tome looking for a suitable line. I get caught up on my poetry and spend a peaceful moment or two in someone else's mind too, which is a plus in this far to fast world we live in. Currently its e.e. cummings, Federico Garcia Lorca, and a book of beat poets that I turn to for inspiration and solice. Poets are so succinct with language, so ready with a good phrase... After all... they are poets :=}-r- Link to comment
sonneland 0 Posted February 23, 2014 in a way wish you had not told of how you come up with such bizarre and wonderful titles as it ruins my vision of you staying up late at nights with pencil and tablet in hand. i use song books for a lot of my titles and at the moment am working my way through leonard cohen. was just at one of his concerts here in new zealand, he just has to be the ultimate performer. his concerts are more like a spiritual awakening than a musical occasion. hes 79 now and still has 3 and a half hour shows. remarkable human being.
