gungajim 75 Posted February 22, 2014 Michail, I've notice that many of your images have a lot of really dark (underexposed). Perhaps this is intentional or a function of the time of day the shots are taken. Whatever, I think that many of your images would benefit from by having fewer highly pronounced dark areas.FWIW, Jim Link to comment
M_Lipakis 2 Posted February 22, 2014 Marco, Jim, thank you for your input.Jim its a matter of taste, or rather a matter of the mood that i am into when i see (and post proccess) a photo. So when ever you see a dark image of mine it means that i want it to be so. I try to convey something no matter if i ever manage to do so.But the true gain from the whole proces after all is some honest comments like yours. It's even more important to me than liking one of my pictures. I thank you from my heart for this. Link to comment

alfbailey 2 Posted February 23, 2014 I think the dark foliage and background serve to accentuate the twisted branches that seemingly have been tortured by wind and the elements.I do like these type of images, I have taken many of trees that seem to cling to life like this one in the face of all adversity, its kind of reassuring.
