I had thought the beak seems a bit strange until I read the title :-) .. very cute bird againstt a nice, soft background. The sparkle in the eye sure bring the bird out well from that black head. TFS!

The size of that Sunflower seed (I think) compared to the Chickadee's size reminds me of one of those 72oz. Roadhouse Steaks that "if you can eat the whole thing in one setting, . . . it's free!"

 

Some very nice details and that wonderful "sparkle" just goes to show their personality a bit!

 

I know we have a couple of hanging seed cakes in the Garden. Although many of the other Birds don't seem pay too much attention to them, (Too much work to get the seeds off I suppose!)  we have a couple of Chickadee's that really give it a "work over" and will spend considerable time there.

They just don't stay still for very long!
