This block was pushed high on shore during the storm and got stranded

once the waters receeded.Thank you for your comment-Laurent

Laurent,I like very much this one how is composed and framed, looks very natural and shows this end of ice time(I think). The ice block somewhere faraway gives a feeling of immensity of the ocean.

Hello Laurent,  The sky keeps you in the picture pushing your eyes down to the ice block and then you scan the water to find 2 other ice flows. Great shot.

Thank you for viewing and for commenting. With the last storm,I thought I would find this place piled up with large blocks, but instead, the storm took the ice from the shore and floated it out at sea.I was told that there is a lot of ice out on the open sea,so a storm with the favorable winds could still load up this shore as there is still another two months before all this is melted.

Salutations-Laurent

Thank you for viewing and for the kind appreciation. It is a big sea and there are a lot  more blocks out there than the few that are visible here and there will be more before this winter is over.

Meilleures salutations-Laurent
