Wayne Sadler 564 Posted February 20, 2014 Probably the last of this series I will post. I thought it was worth posting because the capture moment displays a kind of splendor I don’t normally associate with gulls. Solving the problem with the uniform background was my only challenge. Comments and critique appreciated. Link to comment
krpradu 125 Posted February 20, 2014 WayneI can't say that is elegant but for sure a posture that shows so well part of this flying with nice feathers on wings and tail and gradual tone color of bg is very good and worth the effort to do it,seems just a bit to be grainy in middle upper part but otherwise if I think would worked very well with all bg small grainy on this gradual tonality,is a matter of choice and taste at last.sincerely radu Link to comment
Wayne Sadler 564 Posted February 20, 2014 Radu,Thanks for visiting and the critique. I see what you mean about the grain. Not sure I can account for it. I think it may be unavoidable when attempting to apply a gradient to this monochromatic/uniform background. I am usually avoiding grain like the plague. Any suggestions on tackling this problem would be appreciated. Link to comment
