I like to use telephoto lens for landscapes and sometimes the results are nice and interesting.

Noncho, I agree that telephoto lenses can be very useful in landscape photography.  One of my personal favorites was taken with a 500mm lens, and I often use 400mm and 300mm, with 300mm being my favorite.
