I like your "subtitle" because I think it perfectly underlines the photo: "old architecture which was then new". It's easy to forget that once this building (which now probably seems normal, rather un-special, though the drawings on the walls give it an extra touch) was once something shiny, new, full of anticipation and novelty. Time passes by, and now.... well, some bikes against the wall show how much it's being used. But then there is this magnificant crown of leaves, shiny gold. A very nice contrast, and a firm reminder of how this once was new and special.

A pity that the light levels are so different, even if it may give some additional meaning to this image.
