Great opportunity you found here, catching them both!

I remember as a teenager in the late 60's when the family went through Yellowstone on a move across country. Camping a couple of nights there was the "family vacation" back then.

As I recall, then the Bears, Elk & Moose was the most often seen wildlife. We did encounter a few "Bear Jams" during our travels through the park! And even had some Elk & one Moose & Calf encounter while hiking.

I've always wanted to return, and think I would really enjoy one of the "Yellowstone Winter" adventures!

In recent years I hear that the Bears are pretty scarce, and I've spoken to some who visited the Park and and said they didn't see any wildlife. I have a hard time imagining that!

Cheers,

Jim j.

Hi again,

Glad to hear that contrary to what I had heard that you did observe some Bears during your visit to the Park last year!

Thanks Jim for the response!

Regards,

Jim j.
