Thanks Mr. Mancil! The bird is pretty clever and smack the bee on the branches quite a few times and I think she does that to get rid of the stinger . She only eats the bee after do so for a few minutes.

Thanks C. Thao! I was thinking of getting a 5D Mark III or 1DX but I guess if I get close enough and crop little or no cropping then the image is not too bad  (even with 10mp)  :-)
