Viper very well captured. Portuguese Air Force, right? Aviation photography is by no means easy, and you succeeded in conveying a fantastic amount of detail. Full take-off burner, additional fuel tanks, AIM-120's on wingtips... Perfect!

Tomasz: thanks for your comment, I see that you have a very deep knowledge about aircrafts! Yes, you are right, this F16 belongs to the portuguese air force and I shot this take-off on a rainny day. The noise of this bird is "something" when you are close to it! Best regards.

Outstanding work.  Amazing detail.  I love that you captured the shock diamonds in the afterburner.  This is an F-16A Viper Block 15.  It is armed with 2 AIM-120C AMRAAMs, 1 AIM-9L Sidewinder and 1 GBU-12 Paveway II laser guided bomb....with a LANTIRN pod.  LANTIRN stands for: Low Altitude Navigation and Targeting Infrared for Night.

I was a weapons loader in the U.S. Navy.  I was attached to an F/A-18C squadron.  I have also worked on various other Navy/Marine Corps aircraft.
