Your eye and composition with all the textures, shapes and especially the  broken fence are all very appealing. For my sense of aesthetics, I don't like dark snow (I am not a racist) and for that reason I converted it to B&W which emphasizes the forms, shapes and textures without color getting in the way. Of course, it is just one opinion and hopefully it is taken as constructive.
