Icy lava flow!

The wind shapes snow saturated by the rising tide and solidified by

the low temperatures took the shape of hardened lava on the deserted

Looks like a place not on earth. Nice work.

I know you don't adjust your images or do so minimally so I have done one and it makes it a bit less dramatic.   It is not a recommendation but a conversation piece.

this is a cool feature. I would say it almost looks like a large glacier flowing from the mountains. I like both the original and Tony's version. Since Tony didn't just remove a vignette and I always try to learn: did you use a polarizing filter on this image?

Thank you for the observation and for taking the time to tweak this.I had touched it up,but somehow could not lighten it up as you did without losing the definition on the side of that big block on the left,even by isolating it.I guess I should have also split the image at the horizon and  brightened up the sky.Whatever,I think yours is an improvement.

Thank you for the kind observation; it does look much bigger than it is.Maybe I could have added a pint-size figure in the scene to make it look like a glacier.I used a circular polarizer on this as on all these ice/snow shots.
