single photos the color of winter

Richard,  Nice shot.  This looks really desolate.  You have achieved a terrific sense of space and distance.  The snow fence enhances this as it fades into the distance.  Also, the black dirty snow is a reality of winter that you use here as excellent contrast.  The sliver of sky at the horizon is perfect for the image.  You had your artistic eye going here.  Congratulations for seeing this image and capturing it so well.  Larry
