Thanks for viewing/comments! ... It's a Snowy Owl irruption in 2013 and I

had to fly from Calif. to Massachusette to get Mr. Smiley and it's worth it!

For sure it worth it, like how is composed with this space around and bg color enhances the view for main subject that is superb no doubt.

Thank you very much folks!

Monte,  below is a couple links to where these guys are hiding after going South and the whole Western part of the US (2014) ... is not a good place to find them even though they were sighted in Florida (even)  :-)

Thanks C. Thao! Wish you were there :-)  I got these shot partly because of your comment on equipment which got me to go and rented the 5D III . First day, I use the 5D III, 2nd day I use the 1D Mark III to get flying shot but on the 3rd day I revert to 5D III since in low light condition the 5D III behave much better than the 1D III  (with more resolution to boot).

Thanks Jim!

LOL! OK, Mr Mancil! You know what's really occurred there :-) -  It's a few choice words now and then and it's hurts (my arms .. hand holding the lens and camera) waiting for his choice words. Good to hear from you Mr. Mancil!

Good thing I don't understand Owl!
