The rising tide was soaking the shoreline and its sand infested ice

crust at the same time adding a bit of emerald color of the salt

saturated waters.Thank you for your comment-Laurent

This one and your description is very fascinating. I didn't really think about the sand causing that colour. Amazing image. You certainly experience the brunt of the weather that travels from the States through Ontario and North Easterly. But it's effect certainly provide for some fascinating images that you share with us all.

kind regards, Gail

Thank you for viewing and for your kind observation.I must point out that the actual colors are not as intense as this;there was a circular polarizer on the lense and in PP,it  needed some tweaking of the adjustment buttons mainly the contrast and saturation to pump up the dominating sandy part closer to shore and to enhance the turquoise of the seeping tide waters.Aside from being extremely cold,we have been spared any bad weather lately;no snow leaving parts of the sandy beaches partially exposed and exceptionally no wind storm which would normally break up this ice sheet and precipitate it on shore at the same time changing the whole scenery. But it will happen and you will see the results.

Meilleures salutations-Laurent
