Old Ford Tractor in the Snow

The tractor in the snow is great. Not a common site in any case.

There are two things that I think would have helped the picture:

The first is the DOF. I think the background is distracting. If it were blurred out the tractor might take more prominence in the image.

The other is much more difficult to change. It is the shadow that is cast on the front part of the tractor. Maybe you can play with it, but I am sure waiting for the sun to move is not an option in the freezing weather. Maybe a shift in the framing could have helped.

Just some ideas, in any case a nice winter picture.

Andres, I will have to try it again with a lower F/stop. Here is a different shot of this tractor after a different snow storm taken with a wide angle lens, the shadow is different, though I can't say there is a good bokeh. But here is the link if you care to see. LINK
