Black Capped Chickadee

Cute chickadee! Good light conditions, sharp.

A very pleasing capture Richard. While the background in the area of the 'head' of the bird is dark, the Black Cap still stands out very well. Very nice background and detail in this cute little guy.

Beautiful light and detail in the bird. Too bad that the black cap is right in front of the darkest background. Guess we can't have it all. Well done!

He seems pleased that his perch isn't covered with snow (for the moment).  Excellent detail... Mike

Thank you all for the kind comments.  This was a better weekend to be out...warmer, 17 degrees, not snowing and the light was good.

Great fun and I enjoy taking these as much as sharing them!
