There is something about crystal clear skies and the textures of weathered

rustic buildings that has an appeal for me. The ability of the camera lens

and perspective to distort our perceptions is also of interest. The image is

better seen larger by double clicking on it.

I fully appreciate your attraction to the combination of blue sky and weathered surfaces with a flat perspective. It makes an appealing juxtaposition of "old vs new," while giving the eye and mind something to think about. I like this entire series that you've shown of this subject, but this one draws me in the most. BTW, thanks for your very thoughtful comments on a few of my photos.
