Good looking winter scene and amusing same time to see in a so huge empty space a clear warning about it,after how snow looks it seems that lot of wind was there.

my best regards

This is the tip of this triangular shoreline property where it meets the beach road. This is a high erosion spot and the water has gained rapidly in the last few years eating away the public beach.Thank you for the kind observation.

In a word, magnificent!  This image tells a story of a bleak environment including hints of vegetation, a few rocks, a blanket of snow, and evidence of a human presence.  It's sad . . . This area is sheltered by wispy clouds in a vivid blue sky, but anyone who crosses the line identified by the sign is subject to dire consequences.  I've always had a conceptual problem with private property, asking myself how people derive the right to keep other people away from the beauty that exists in nature.  (Please folks, this is not a time for political philosophy.)

My best,

michael

You have a thought jerking and very valid comment. For what it's worth,I should point out that this sign has just appeared here and for cause. This ''public''beach, just beyond that rock protection was 50 feet or more out just a few years ago,but the agressive erosion has brought it to the edge and onto this private property;not really a problem at this time of the year when the only person around is this stubborn photographer, but in the summertime, the accostomed users/campers/picknickers of this disappeared beach have no choice but to creep onto the property if they want to keep using their favorite spot with the usual discomfort for the owner. This said,I thank you for your kind appreciation of my shot of the spot.

Merci et meilleures salutations-Laurent
