Like Mike, I'm seeing this on a phone too and it's excellent! I can imagine how great it must look on a computer screen! This one should be in print! The "kids" look so natural in this environment and it makes for a great photo to which I'm sure has some happy memories attached. Very well done! Thank you for sharing! :)

Ok, I'm back.  I think the setting with (Rose and Rain?) is perfect.  They're right in their element and the level of detail is most impressive with a sense of depth that is just like being there.  This would make a fantastic painting...  Mike

Thanks much Mike, Patsy, and Trisha - (Mike - you have a great memory for names - Rain and Rose is correct).

I think they were on alert for those man-eating squirrels our woods are overrun with . . .

Best, David

I confess to looking at your portfolio to refresh my memory.  Hans is the only one whose coat pattern is unique enough that I pick him out without reference :-)...  Mike

Fantastic!  I love the way they're placed in relation to the trees, with the diagonal limb filling the negative space in the lower right.  And the lighting in the distant trees is also quite remarkable.  Beautiful!
