Wow you are getting some really great shots of this very difficult subject!

I like the direction and position of the bird in the frame, I think the image could do without that petal  Has to be seen large to be fully appreciated!

I noticed you used a relatively high ISO Did the image suffer any noise as a result, and if so what did you use to clean it up?

Compliments & Best Regards

Thank you for your kind words!  I have already cloned out the plastic petal per your recommendation; thank you.  I wrote you a message as my answer got to be too long for this forum regarding noise reduction. Generally speaking, I find little problematic noise from the Canon 6D until over ISO 2500.  No extensive clean up of noise was required in this image. The high usable ISO was the main selling point to me for this Camera, I did not need the Wi-Fi or GPS, though I might learn to use them.

My 50D was good with ISO up to about 800, but I could push things a bit, and with some fiddling, get acceptable images up to ISO 1250.  Acceptability is different for each artist, but I require a natural looking image at 8 x 10 minimum.  The EOS 50D will stay around for some high speed uses and my EF-s lenses.
