Great work, Bob ... beautiful portarit with excellent B&W tones ... congrats !!

The title "Joy of Living" seems a bit contradictory to me because I see her expression as vacant and meloncholy.  The rules of classical portraiture are ignored in that this is not a profile or a 2/3 view of the face.  Still, the inter-play of tones and the contrast with the darker facial tones and the rest of the composition make this visually interesting even if it is not of high artistic merit.

An expressive portrait, filled with character, bravo.

She wasn't showing much joy ,but she is alive and that is great joy.
