hour later the mix of streetlights and the last remnants of natural

light made for attractive colors.

50 second exposure using the "Live Time" function on the E-M1.

Still, the last remaining light, kisses just the very edges of the branches. The lovely colours of the surrounding light truly make for a beautiful background.

Lovely. I increased the contrast and did NOT adjust the colors but perhaps it does not represent what you saw.

thanks for the suggestion. No, it was not what I saw at all, but I like it. When I took the picture it was almost completely dark already, and the original image was already significantly lightened by exposing it for quite a while. Of course you didn't know that and boosted it some more. Your version has definitely more pep to it.

BTW I find it great that you offer your suggestions and alternative renditions. I think people do that way too rarely. They might still go with their original vision, but it never hurts to see the alternatives.
