I love the colors and composition. The tire tracks leading to the smelt houses leave nice patterns on the wind-shaped snow and keep it from turning into a uniform white expanse. I am a bit ambivalent about the really dark sky. On the one hand I like how it increases the contrast of the entire image, on the other hand I would have liked to see those white clouds in the upper right corner a bit more prominently.

This was taken with a split filter and I think,from this,that it might be a little too dark and using it with a white base as this snow is not really appropriate as to try to lighten the sky in PP would just blow the details on the snow;splitting the image to PP the top only would be self defeating.Thank you for looking at this and for the very useful observation.
