You have captured the emotion of the situation beautifully in the expressions of these little angels!  But they look a little sad and maybe wistful and I wonder if they have been naughty angels : - ) 

But i like the photograph because it is very different from the usual happy smiley images that usually mark these occasions, it has a lot of feeling and great character! 

I don't know a great deal about portraiture but it seems you have used the fill flash to great effect, no bright blown highlights and no deep unfathomable shadows.

Sincere thanks my friend, the sombre look on their faces comes from standing around for a long time waiting for something to happen...:-). It's interesting to know that the mother of my grand daughter, on the far right, was herself a flower girl at the wedding of the bride's parents thirty odd years ago.
