Hi Laurent.  First,  the vertical line of the pole with the sun just above it, bothered me a bit,  But then I realized the title and  find the sense of the picture and what You wanted to show.  I like it!

However, I think If You had rotated the camera a bit to the right, You could have got the sun and the pole are not in such a central position.  These snowy landscape are so exotic to me, that I often find them appealing.

Regards,

Rosario.

First of all is that you saw very well this moment and I would have same idea with this subject.I like how light is seen round the sun in mist, both images look good to me.

Thank you for viewing and for the appreciation.I know what you mean about  offsetting the sun to include it in a more landscape format. Here,it was not the intent but I have another shot which I have prepared for you;I have gone to the left  as the trees on the right were higher and were better to anchor the scene.Tell me what you think.

Meilleures salutations-Laurent

Thank you for viewing and for your kind observation. This was a good scene and the lighted portion was so concentrated,it offered many possibilities for different tastes, one of which as Rosario suggested above.

Thank you.It was a good scene but it did not last very long as the sun kept on with its vertical climb.

Just I see this picture, Laurent.  I like both versions, but I think the first one is  better. After all, the central position, was the best option.

Regards,

Rosario.
