Is superb,has something surreal in it,sharp and clear with so nice grey tone,for sure color would not have same impact.I have two question:did you used a filter(PC or ND) and second is this result of a single image caught or more.No matter the answer the result deserves all compliments for series you did.

I used only polarising filter. One shot - one RAW.

 

Another excellent view. So sharp and intense it is as though I am there!

Beautiful B&W scene. I'm trying to get similar results, however mind are far below this standard.

Gary - starting image is very important. Every time I make differently - playing with levels.

beautiful tones - great conversion to BW. the amount of detail from the grass to the clouds is stunning. I think the vast expanse of grass and the small sliver of hills works well. Nicely done!

Katarzyna,  This is another of your superb images.  The foreground grasses with their bold detail have  wonderful impact that moves the eye through the image into the harmonious background that extends to infinity.   Excellent.  Larry
