Now we can see from you three images we same location in different light moment. Each one has something attractive in it,a small glare on the road here, a shy sun that try to bring a bit of light a really winter mood. From this three the second one is I like more.

Thank you for viewing;you are right in your observation. This is the view from my front door and usually my first shot of the day and the moment I decide if I get dressed to go out for more shots. The three shots you mention are from the last week with our drastic weather variations, but I also have posted a few more sunrises from this vantage point and think I will open a new folder to regroup them.

Hello Laurent, I find this image has that wintry mood captured well, The wide angle lens does its usual great job with the sky. I like it. As I looked over some of your other recent images I picked up on the dramatic slant in the sky and your explanation regarding the use of the grad. filter, thought it very interesting and a tool that I may have a use for. So thanks for the info. Take care.

Holger

Thank you for looking in and for the kind observation. On this one,I also used the GC-filter but with the split line level with the horizon. This is great on free skies as here, but not so good on my church scenes for example where the color split really shows up on the steeples. For your info, this one I have is in the $50 range and is mfg.by MARUMI and comes in a range of colors.Hope this info is useful.

Wow ,,, a refreshing image !! Lovely colors, Laurent ... We are experiencing temperatures of 40° in the far South of America ...

I can understand that this is refreshing given your extreme high temperatures;too bad we cannot include "temperature" in the Argentina-Canada trade agreements. We are having a difficult winter with periods of extreme low temperatures followed by warmer(+1C)spells and then cold as tonight at-16C with high winds.I thank you for looking in and for your kind appreciation.
