Must be viewed larger to get true color. North Beach in San Francisco

has a variety of avante garde buildings, street scenes, interesting

shops and eateries, and coffee cafes. I captured this image, a close

up of the previous one, just as dusk was overtaking the afternoon.

Your comments are most appreciated. Thanks in advance to taking

the time to comment. Larry

Larry, this shows better than previous the very, very interesting outside of this building, music every where. There are lot of details on each of drawing that can be watch and study, really I like it.Is difficult in the city to catch this kind of images when there are lot of wires and piles,I know this very well but the subject here is so good that doesn't matter.

my best regards

Hi Larry-Another great old building & I can visualize how it appeared when new.Would love to wonder round these old buildings. They are like page out of history except they ate still standing, you might call it living history. The trouble with our cities soon as they show signs of age , they are torn down We are ending up with cities of glass. Best Regards-Ross

Radu and Ross,   Thanks for your visits.  The North Beach section of San Francisco is an artistic, hippy sort of area with lots of street culture.  There are many cafes and in your face places like the palm reader studio in one of my other images.  And, the streets teem with people of many persuasions.  It is sad that old buildings are not appreciated.  Whoever painted this one is quite talented.  Thanks for your comments.   Larry

Pat,   Thanks for your visit.  There's always a lot to do in San Francisco and its surrounding areas both Marin on the north and the silicon valley cities to the south - lots of great photo opps in addition to good food and excellent museums.  Larry

I enjoyed watching these pictures of San Francisco, but this one is what I liked most. I love all the details we can see here (in larger size is better). The color blue is also beautiful.  You have a good eye!

Regards,

Rosario.

You really have to look at this larger. I am amazed at the paintings on this buildings, right down to the books that look suspended on the wires!! Whomever is responsible for the 'Artistry' is so talented. Thanks so much for sharing Larry. I doubt I will ever go to San Francisco. So, I will enjoy your images here!!!

kind regards, Gail

Amazing image. The broadway sign at the bottom is important to me as well the overall 'blues' color of the image.
