Yes, must admit it is also lovely in color. The mood is much different, though, more serene and calming in the color version somehow. And also, the tire tracks in the grass are more obvious in the contrast of churned brown dirt revealed against the otherwise undisturbed lush green grass. In either instance, the converging track lines direct the eye down the slope of the ground into the photo, which (in somewhat of a contradiction) also directs one's attention 'out' towards the horizon and sky. But I still prefer the b&w version, I think. It seems to me inexplicably more powerful and dramatic, and more fully reveals that dark beautiful cloud.

From thumbnail I remember this splendid scene you caught and seen some time ago,I must say that this bw version is for sure to be considered also on top,the big difference imo is that the view is delight here by very well seen layers in grey tone,sharpness grass and path that leads the eyes to horizon line where a soft nice cummulus cloud completes the image.Compliments for this version.
