a tad noisy. It was done on my 85 and has some major crop, and

As to the perceived 'noise' issues, I can't really say. But your photo does seem to me to be very competently cropped and processed. In any event, it is a nice image. I like the bare touch of color added by the scarf; it seems to me just the right amount. Also, the wistful, faraway look in the child's eye is arresting... perfectly captured.
