The sun was opposite at about 45 degrees and the the camera was held approximately at the same angle. With no filter on the lens, the image produced it is what you see here of the naked branches of a tree reflected in the water.

Sometimes I will comes across an abstract so great that I aam just mesmerised by it for minutes at a time. This is one such image that does just that.

What a wonderful combination of patterns and light, I am spellbound by this image and I think it would make an excellent print.

The thing you need to add is a good title maybe "Spellbound" would be a good contender?

Sincere Compliments!

This is an amazing work, Dimitris. Fascinating interplay of flowing dark lines. Black and gray on blue works beautifully, too. I find it very calming and so interesting that if it was hanging on my wall I would look forward to simply sitting and looking at it for long minutes at a time.

It is not very often either that one comes up with a title suggestion and as you can see I have taken it on board...:-). The temptation was great to write a big explanation about the optics involved...but this forum is about pictures, not words...I think I made it clear that we are looking at a picture that is absolutely unadulterated and that will suffice.

Sincere thanks my friend.

One of the most difficult things in photography it is to learn to see how the camera sees and it is a joy when, sometimes, we achieve it when the circumstances are right and what good is it not to share it with other people that have the same interest...You are very welcomed my friend. Thank you for your compliments.

Considering the sensor of this camera is no bigger than the nail on your smallest finger..it's not bad..:-). Thank you Maestro!

I agree with you Bernard that the eye is a very important factor. Intuition and patience combined with practice and knowledge will give you reasonable results... The first question that most people ask when they see a good photograph is, ''what camera have you got''.... what they really mean is, ''If I had that camera I would take equally good photos''..-:)

I so admire your skills not only in expertly capturing and presenting your photos but in seeing them in the first place.

This image stands on its own and is excellent!  But the addition of the title does give it a certain mystique and enhances the viewer's experience.  Bravo!

Belated thanks Alberta !

Thank you for your visit and comment Christal. Some of the credit goes to Alf Bailey who suggested the title.
