Hi Dieter,   This is an amazing landscape.  Where is it?  You have an important geography lesson to impart.  The peaks and desert  make a most striking impact, especially with the vertical textures on the peaks.  The foreground shadow also adds balance to the image - to me it balances the plain sky.  I tinkered with the image to eliminate the blue cast with auto white balance and then fussed with the Camera Raw sliders to get the desert to pop more.  I also opened some of the shadow, although I don't know if this shows in such as small image.  What an amazing landscape; I love to see it in real life.  Larry
