I think it can be very tricky to photograph a scene with so many elements and compose it in a way that works artistically, like this one. I found it immediately appealing. The reflection and the dash of red color help too, and the contrast is well managed. Cheers, -Clayton

Maurizio,

Sometimes the soul can feel constricted in old memories. A withered window is opened and the sun is entering the old room and gives a new outlook. Wonderful composition. I personally love this image. It is meaningfull and all parts of this image ad to the story you tell.

Kind regards,

Herman

Hi Maurizio,

A fine recollection of an older period .

This image reminds me of the old film days, where my Box cameras were limited by fixed f-stops of F/22 or more. While the imagery is always compromised, no matter what lens or camera is used at F/25, the memories remain.

Best Regards my friend, Mike

I really like your POV in this image Maurizio. The old rotting window, the reflections of the bars in the glad, the old tiles that are inlaid into the sill. The dash of 'Paprika' colour ourside on the window sill rounds out the image well.

enjoyed this one a lot, :) Gail

A restoration project?...:-). Strong composition, wonderful textures and light. Well seen.

(I am sure that the colours are correct in the larger view ?).

I love windows  as subjects, they speak  so much, the colors and the reflection on the glass, the chipping old paint. Great work. Kelson.
