owen_omeara 1 Posted January 14, 2014 Was not sure about this one until I found myself coming back to it. In short, now I love it. The hair and the red on the lip nail it down. A bit sad indeed but very strong. -Cheers Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted January 15, 2014 Owen, You weren't sure about this one. Think how I feel? I never know about any of my images. That said, I am glad you came back and I am glad you like it. Sergio, I do like the fact that this might be original. I hope anyway. Thank you both. Link to comment
starvy 7 Posted January 15, 2014 I find this interesting but would perhaps have liked to see a little more space around your composition. Lovely tones. Link to comment
gsphotoguy 3 Posted January 16, 2014 Thank you Owen for pointing out the lip, some how I missed it :-P This portrait is wonderfully done. The way the red section of hair falls and devices the space is terrific. The crop and position in the frame is brilliant. Her gaze leaves me thinking about what she is thinking. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted January 16, 2014 Starvy, I can't argue with your comment about the space. However, if you read Mark's comment below yours, it is clear that opinions differ. Mark, It wasn't just you who missed the hair on the lip. I did too. I wasn't sure if the crop was too tight or not. Certainly Starvy thinks it is. Thank you both for your input. Link to comment
bronx 0 Posted January 17, 2014 Sometimes its hard to set the mood with just a headshot but this has great feeling, I can feel her sadness in away. The models expression, your framing her looking out of frame all works very well. I think it's a damn good photo. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted January 19, 2014 I gauge a photo by the amount of attention it receives. The fact that you took the time to comment on this is very pleasing. Thanks for that. Link to comment
krpradu 125 Posted January 20, 2014 Is for sure that hair is first eyes contact and strong impact, next my question was why this title and looked carefully and see the lip and expression result,is interesting and very attractive posture, nice work.By the way,I like also the tight crop here.best regards Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted January 21, 2014 I do appreciate you taking the time. I am quite humbled that you seemed to study the title before studying the image. Thanks a lot. Link to comment

davidmccracken 2 Posted February 6, 2014 I can't argue with you about the space to the right. However, I did want something a little unconventional. Thanks for taking the time. Link to comment
