A happy and sandy young boy captured with good separation from the background.  The background color is so bright and saturated that it becomes the center of attention.  I am uploading my version of your image for your consideration.  In photoshop I cloned out the white thing lower right, selected the background only and lowered the saturation, inverted the selection so that only the boy was selected and removed much of the blue color-cast.  I set my brush at 50% opacity and cloned some of the blue in the sky to tone down some of the hot spots in the sky.  There is no absolute right or wrong in an image, onlya matter of opinion, and I present my preference for your consideration only to show you one of many other possibilities.  I hope this helps.  Good luck
