The winter rain had frozen overnight and provided an icy glazing over

everything for an easy reflection of the shaded rising sun.Thank you

for your comment-Laurent

Pure magic (especially when seen large). The icy road leads to the sunrise.
I figured you stayed home that day Laurent, no?

Laurent, this is really very interesting. You have lot of images caught last time, and very good ones. The icy glaze is so well seen from this morning sun angle,I am imagine this with no clouds and I think it wouldn't be so good, sprayed clouds and reflection create a nice feeling.

Thank you kindly. This was taken from my front balcony as I was going out for a few shots of this sunrise out on the frozen beach at the end of the street.Did not stay home as life here goes on in our usually too long winters.

Thank you for viewing and for the kind comment. It was trickier driving the night before when this ice was building up.

Thank you so much for the comparison. The positive side of these icing conditions is the rise of températures around the freezing point(meager consolation).

You are right.I think I was fortunate here for the cloudy sky which shielded from a direct hit from the sun which was just right to light up the cloud and provide that reflection on the icy surface.Thank you for your always welcomed observations.
