1608, revisted, no. 1

Part of a series initially intitled 1608, revisited - A question, 400 years

later, of how did Samuel de Champlain see North America in 1608. I

photographed a part of one of his maps showing a first nation people's

longhouse on the riverside and mounted that together with photos of a

contemporary longhouse reproduction and 16th and 17th century Indian

artifacts from that region.
