Maurizio,

beautiful composition, but the halo around the lamp post distracts from the otherwise excellent image. Is it an artifact of turning t into a really small jpeg? I love the balance between the calm ocean/island and the crazy diamond patterns of the terrace and the clouds that liven up the sky.

Hi Maurizio,

This is Artistic, so the loss in detail is of no consequence here.

Using F/29 on any good lens translates to a compromise in image quality.

The other issues with this posted image have already been stated.

Best Regards my friend, Mike

very graphic work here Maurizio...it has a surrealistic look which I like a lot...conversion and tones are well done, keeping the sky at an optimal level which doesn't compete but blends well with the ground...regards...David

Hi, Maurizio! After all being said, this is a great image: great graphic work, excellent composition. I am sure if you work again on your raw file you will find the way to escape that halo. The picture really attracts! Best regards, Tamara

Hi Maurizio,

I share Mike's point of view.

I like the artistic use of f/22. The halo around the lamp and clouds on the left give a "mystic" atmosphere.

It's an another proof that technical perfection is not always "artistic". Good choice my friend.

Maurzio,

Professional photography, immaculate black and white and a flawless composition. State of the art image, congratulations,

Herman

Saluti, Federico.

Hi Mau

This is really good!!!

Simple and strong, very well composed.

Improvement: the hallo around the lamp.

I would like to see more works from you on this area.

Regards

José Cruz
