Personally I would have ignored the fence, and concentrated on a more minimalistic type of shot of that wonderful lone tree, perhaps a portrait orientated version that would encapsulate the grasses and contrast with superb sky! stp 6 Posted January 12, 2014 I agree with Alf that the lone tree, golden grasses, and patterned clouds would have made a great composition without the fence. As shown, the fence is not obviously a fence, and I suspect many viewers will puzzle over these boards. They are also OOF, and that is distracting. If you want to include the fence, I suggest you back up to show more of the fence, and then take 2-3 shots at different focus points and blend these shots using focus stacking. That will have everything in focus if done properly. Link to comment
