She is a beautiful and chubby Richard. I love Finches. We have not seen many birds this Winter, it is so cold!! Her coloring is lovely, your detail accentuates her feathers so well. Thank you for this one, immediately put a smile on my face!

At first I thought that this was a Pine Siskin, but on closer inspection the beak gives it away as wll as the lack of yellow highlights at the wingtips.

Richard,

 

Some very nice details and I like the overall subtle color tone and your composition.

 

Now, a minor quibble if I may, . . .

 

I find the two very small "twigs" to the left of the Finch distracting. Have you considered "cloning" them out. Looks as if it could be an easy task.

 

Just my thoughts, opinion and worth less than .02 cents worth!
