Purple Finch

Thanks for posting this lovely view of an unfamiliar bird.  I love the light, color and detail.  

What a superb capture........... the larger view is awesome. Well done.

The smallest of nitpic would be that stick to the right.... I would have removed it. It catches my eye (smiles).

Anyway...yes, the light in the eye is what I'm looking for with all of these bird shots...including the interesting "expressions".
