Marvin,

The Turkey Vulture must have been listening to your direction to give you a "soar by" in good light to show off the fine details on the back side of his wings.

Very nice!

I've taken a good number of shots at these guys along the rivers here whilst I'm awaiting for other subjects. But, unlike yours here, . . . the Vultures don't listen to my direction and never soar by in good enough light!

Jim,

The TVs are so common I usually don't notice them as I'm looking for more interesting subjects. However, now they are everywhere and flying low. Hence - .....

Marvin,

Yes, I know the feeling!

Just the other day, I was out and was watching a couple of Bald Eagles which were staying off in the distance down river from the Dam where I was set up. Well, long story short, . . . the only activity close enough for a couple of shots were the Sea Gulls that I too normally don't pay much attention to! So, now I've got a folder on my computer full of Sea Gull shots!

It's amazing how after a period of time, . . . "we've just got to shoot/snap at something!"

Still, this is a very nice shot and you were fortunate to get that kind of light on the backside of the Vulture, . . . I can't!

Cheers,

Jim j.
